Next, I have Mishie-style note pads to show off. I made these a couple weeks ago, and since PTI is coming out w/ a whole set dedicated to making these adorable little suckers, I thought I'd share my versions....

a few projects....
I got this cute letter N at Hobby Lobby in Houston back in August and got a chance to jazz it up recently. I covered it w/ paper and used mod podge to glue it down and covered the top so it's sealed all nice. I added some blue and brown buttons, too. I have a little collection of N's for the twins room.

... teacher lunch box...
Hello dear friends. . . Happy Father's Day. 'Course I don't have a Father's Day card to show you. I made several, but was so late getting them mailed, I didn't stop to take thier little pictures! My theme was red, white and blue. Turned out pretty cute!
So, today I'm going to share a lunch box (PTI template) that I made weeks ago for Levi's teacher. He picked out the paper and insisted on being in the photo.
And the side view, just 'cuz Levi's so adorable!

... little gray box ...
I was trying to create something less girlie when I made this. I got inspired by my stack of ABC scrapbook paper that's all black and gray and white. I think the glitter makes it less masculine, but I still love it. I don't know what I'm doing w/ it yet. I already made one for the hubs to put on his desk. It's boring though... I did put some pics of the kids on the front. . .

... baby box ...
Hello friends! Have I mentioned that I love Lauren's templates? I really do. I've gotten quite a few of them. I think my favorite thing about them is the samples they show you that you can't see anywhere else!
So - today, I'm sharing a little box I made using "from the desk of" - yes, again! I probably already blabbed about the samples, too, so sorry 'bout that.
Anyhoo - this could be for a baby girl or boy. I've since gotten some baby wash & lotion and put inside (after wrapping it w/ cute polka dotted paper & a ribbon). Two of the regular sized bottles fit *perfectly* in here.
First is a view of the inside. I'm a wee bit bummed that you can see the dotted score lines, but I probably could've covered those if I made my liner paper a bit wider... This is the stuff you tweak along the way.

... new timeless template ...
I've been loving the templates from PTI lately - Lauren does such a cool job coming up w/ neat ones and making them so easy to follow! I think part of what I love most is that you get 5 neat ideas that you never see on anyones blog!
So - I ordered "from the desk of" the other day and couldn't wait to create with it! First, I'll show you the coordinating cards I did.
I used PTI's Green Thumb set and some patterned paper that I have no idea where it's from - just been in my stash a very long time... Spring Moss ribbon and buttons - from my "pink" drawer, so not sure where they came from either...
Two more similar cards to put in the box.
Next is my fave - I like that those little crystals fit perfectly inside (and that I remembered to use them!).

The main color I used is Berry Sorbet. Which - for the longest time I didn't buy. And then, even when I finally bought it; I didn't like it. I don't know why. I am a huge fan of pink, but this was more salmon-y, and I couldn't bring myself to use it. Well, I picked the patterned paper first and wanted to find a good match and berry sorbet was PERFECT.
Here is the finished box! I should've taken another angle, too, but was in a hurry. . . I tied it w/ berry sorbet & spring moss ribbon.
Well, I'm tired, even though is barely after nine! Hope you're all enjoying warmer weather! It was 75° here today!

... baby shower bella ...
Good morning! So. . . my brother-in-law's girlfriend is due to have a baby boy in May and the shower is next weekend (in Ohio). I'm not going to make it, so I sent this card and some baby goodies....
Here is a picture of one of the baby goodies.... I painted a PTI egg box and decorated it w/ the baby's name and some spring rain polkda dotted paper. Inside are a few onesies, but I am thinking the new mommy & daddy can use it to save stuff like the hospital bracelet, the hat they put on him after he's born, the card from the bassinet at the hospital.
I also sent a gift that my friend made called a fancy fanny - I didn't think to take a picture of it! She covers travel sized baby wipe containers w/ cloth and puts a trim around the edge. It's really cute - I asked her to make a John Deere one for them.
Well, I think that's enough rambling for today. It rained all night here, so let's hope for a warm dry day! =)

... note card set ...
I made this set of note cards for my M-I-L for Christmas (she got it last month!!). Anyhoo - I printed off the sentiment and dotted line underneat and added a strip of basic grey paper to give it a little pizzazz - which also matches the little box. I used Lauren's template - Desktop Organizer. It was super easy and turned out really cute. I ended up putting the notes in "upside down" so you could read the top....

PTI
Happy February, everyone! So, I'm slacking in my posting! Sorry about that... =)
I've been rushing over to Nichole's blog every morning for the past few weeks to see hints for their anniversary release, and boy is it amazing!!!
They are having a neat challenge called, "It's In the Bag." I just happened to make this cute little note holder from one of Lauren's templates - All Boxed Up. So... here it is - hope you like!

... long notes ...
I made these note pads a couple weeks ago. I took a letter-sized pad of paper and had Staples cut it in half length-wise and covered it w/ cardstock like a book, wrapped the top of the note pad in coordinating paper and decorated the fronts. I also made mini versions of these for my girlfriends at Christmas, but never took pics of them. I have a few that I made for Valentine's Day that I'll post soon. Friday, October 31, 2008
... HAPPY HALLOWEEN ...
Hey friends and stampers - happy halloween! I made these a little while ago and just took their picture yesterday before giving them away to Levi's teachers. These are frappaccino bottles that I altered w/ some cute halloween paper and PTI stamps to make the tags. I made loads of these last year at Christmas and filled them w/ Hershey kisses or M&M's. They are great gifts for teachers, neighbors, etc.

... school treats ...
I made these little treats for Kyle to take to school today and give to the people who make his day extra special. He really loves kindergarten and it means a lot to me that there are so many people that make him feel that way.
Levi really liked them, too, so this weekend, we'll make something for him to take to his teachers.
It's margarita night and I really need it today! Hope your day is going better than mine. =)

... I'm back ...
Hey friends and fellow bloggers...
I'm back from my trip. I'm super tired, I can barely keep my eyes open and should be in bed. BUT, I've missed my computer and my stamping room, so while everyone is snoozing, I'm in here... I altered some crayon boxes a couple weeks ago after seeing it on someones blog (I think Lauren from mytime...) - anyhoo, she used a box of markers and said what a neat idea it'd be for halloween treats instead of candy. I agree, but even on sale, I didn't want to buy up a bunch of packs of markers, so I opted for 17¢ crayons from Rose Art. Last year my friend, Jessica, had a Halloween party and we are talking about doing it again, so I want to make these as favors for all the kids. The pumpkin face is from PaperTrey, Ink's Spooky Sweets set. I barely used this last year, so want to get lots of use out of it this year... =)

Oh - I'm also trying to think up my Christmas card for this year... Yes, I realize it's a bit early, but I am feeling more inspired lately by all the new stamps that are out there! I am thinking I want to do red and white, but can't think of much more than that. I also think I'm going to make different cards for all my girlfriends this year like I did last year... So that'll be fun.
Have you all seen the new releases at Stamping Bella? Very cute stuff!
Oh - and a BIG thank you to AMBER for fancying up my blog while I was gone... Do you love it or what?????
