... follow your dreams ...
Well, lookie here. Apparently I do have a few readers! I made this card a bit ago and have et to mail it. I was playing w/ my new stamps from PTI. I started out not needing the $5 fillable frames they have, but then they had some outlines & fonts I couldn't resist...

... where have i been ...
Hey! So, I'm still alive, just BARELY blogging. I am still stamping, but didn't know if it was worth posting stuff cuz I don't think anyone is looking in on me regularly enough...
I needed birthday cards for three 7 year olds. Twins, and a friend of my sons. I used the just rite stamper and switched out the name and colors.

... teacher ...
Guess who got a head start on end of year teacher cards? ME!! I saw a similar layout on Lisa Johnson's blog and had to try it. Super cute - the paper is from October Afternoon (called Report Card). I absolutely love all of their stuff - super duper cute!
Sentiment & apples are from Teacher's Apple (PTI) and so is the twill ribbon.

... little girl card ...
Hello blog friends!
I actually made this card some time ago and hadn't uploaded it to my computer. I'm not sure where the image is from (my bestie, Amber gave it to me). It took me forever to color her - I am usually a speedy colorer, and don't worry too much about details, or messing up. But not this time!
Anyhoo - the card size is bigger than normal so you'd be able to see the background paper. I first adhered the ribbon w/ scor tape, then stitched over top to hold it all down.
Have a fabulous day! ;-)

... hey buddy ...
Well, *here* is a color I haven't used in forever! Taken With Teal. Really - it's just not one of my faves, but I had colored this little plane and was looking for paper to match, and TWT did the trick! Cute, huh?
I'm sending this little card to my nephew in MD. We are supposed to be "pen pals" but so far I haven't gotten a thing from him! I'll give him some slack, he is only 7.
I used the new PTI argyle & plane sets. I was out of black twill which is what I wanted to use, so I colored white twill w/ my gray copic and voila - it did the trick!

... your day ...
Celebrate, celebrate, dance to the music. . . whooo - I love when I'm in a snazzy happy mood! Must be my new happy pills! lol
So - this adorable card was gonna be for a guy, but then I thought it seemed a bit too neutral, so decided to just keep it in my stash as a just in case kinda card....
Supplies: pti cardstock & sentiment, velvet ric rak (can't remember where I found it), versamark & white embossing powder.

It's true. Not much to explain - stamped and colored w/ tombows. All stuff is from PTI except the ribbon - which I think I got at Michaels a while ago....

... daffodils ...
Hello there! I know, I know - I take way too long between posts! I'm just happy I ever get on here.!
So... when PTI started their Year of Flowers sets, I was like - ahhh, I don't need to get them. But then, the second month came around and I saw this incredible daffodil and said - I MUST have it. I think I made about 10 cards with it --- all paper piecing! Loads of fun and super duper easy!
These two cards don't have sentiments, but most of the others I made I put Happy Easter on.

... cute coffee card ...
First, let me apologize for my crooked picture! They are all a bit cattywompus this week, so be forewarned.
Anyhoo - I started off wanting to make a card for my dad for his birthday, but this turned out a bit more girlie than I'd figured, so it'll go in my stash and I'll try again today to whip up a dad card.
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Going to be a gorgeous week here!
supplies: PTI cardstock & stamps, not sure where the patterned paper is from.... I used a strip of scor tape and sprinkled Martha Stewart glitter in brownstone to make that strip. Thanks for looking!

Hi again! A couple more cards for my neighbor!
The pink paper is from Me & My Big Ideas Tiffanys paper pad, PTI signature greetings, black twill, and black rhinestones.
On this second lime & black one, you can see the edge of the patterned paper - love it!

...lime and black...
Hello friends! It's been a few days, but I'm still trying to get back to *regular* blogging...
My neighbor got some patterned paper for us to make notecards for a friend of hers in Tennessee. I started on a few without her because our schedules are so hectic it just hasn't worked out that we sit and get together to stamp. Here is one of the cards I whipped up for her....

... ten things ...
Hello friends! Happy Saturday ~ hope you've got something fun planned to do... We are all heading to a birthday party today - yay!
So - my card today.... I made this for my dad. When it came to picking the 10 adjectives to put inside, it was HARD - I didn't think about that part when I stamped the 10 things... next time I'll make sure there are 10 *things* that I can actually use and mean them. Makes me wish there were more additions for this set! I gotta chat w/ Dawn about that (lol - like Dawn & I are friends).
Okay - I'm done rambling.
Here's what I used on the card: dark chocolate cardstock (the orange was a scrap, and I'm thinking it might be SU) the polka dotted paper came from a DCWV mat stack for animal lovers {i KNOW, so NOT me, but there are lots of cute papers and I know lots of animal lovers}.
PTI sets: Top Ten, Top Ten additions, and Vintage labels
Thanks for looking!

... anniversary wishes ...
My sister and hubby just celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary. I wanted to use my Turning a New Leaf set, and do something simple.... I used smokey shadow as an accent, but am not sure I like how it turned out.
